We bid farewell to Cesareo Avelardo Salazar of Humble, Texas, born in Beeville, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 15, 2025 at the age of 96. Cesareo Avelardo touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Bennie; his parents, Antonio Salazar and Clemencia Salazar; and his brother Antonio. He is survived by: his children, Robert Salazar (Cristina), David Salazar (Diane) and Sylvia New; his grandchildren, Daniel Salazar, Steven, Ryan, Alisha, Siera Salazar, David Jr. and Alex New; his great grandchildren, Sage and River Abel New; and his siblings, Alfredo Salazar, Andrea Gonzales and Alicia Padden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home (21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
