He is survived by: his father Gordon Elbert Melancon of Hull, Texas; his wife Kimberly Melancon of Hull, Texas; his mother Ginger Lee Johnson Teer of Honey Island, Texas; his stepmother Helen Gilbreath (James) of Como, Texas; his sons, Cord Melancon of Baytown and Kyzer Melancon (Laurynn) of Hardin, Texas; his stepdaughter Payten Meadows (Michael Mouton) of Lumberton, Texas; his siblings, Pee Wee Melancon (Kimberly) of Batson, Tully Melancon (Leann) of Moss Hill, Bo Melancon (Donna) of Liberty, Dane Robinette of Winne, Keith Lafrance of Liberty, Thomas "Bubba" Carrell (Heather) of Hardin, Texas, Benjie Carrell (Joe) of Honey Island, Shaon Musslewhite (Mel Walters) of Honey Island, Wanna Vestal (Bobby "Bubba") of Hardin, Tracy Hughes (Jesse) of Honey Island and Charlene Carrell of Hardin, Texas; and his grandchildren, Huntley Melancon, Pais'lea Melancon, Karter White, Kamdyn White and Zaedyn Mouton.
