He is survived by: his wife Glenda Kay Shannon (Hudspeth); his daughter Glenda Kay Mitschke (Shannon II); his grandchildren, Trey Shannon, Ryan, Kayla Carter (Shannon), Ashley Shannon, Mika Shannon, Raelynn Shannon, Tyler Finn, Nicholas Parker, Zoe Showalter, Victoria Showalter, Cameron Mitschke and Matthew Mitschke; and his brother Gene Shannon. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
