He was predeceased by: his parents, S. H. "Pug" Adams and Ruby Mae Adams; and his sister Louise Adams Williams. He is survived by: his wife Linda VanNess Adams; his daughters, Terri Ford (Mike), Lori Byrd (Steve) and Tonni Jackson (Lee); his grandchildren, Randi Ford Perez, Jared Ford, Clint Ford (Angelina), Craig Byrd (Alicia), Stephani Byrd Laird (Cole), Chad Byrd, Harmon Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Levi Jackson and Tiamo Gonzalez; his great grandchildren, Austin Ford, Gage Ford, Ian Perez, Cole Perez, Jett Ford, Thomas Laird and Lilian Laird; and his nephew Richard Wayne Williams.
