He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ervin, Sr. and Beulah Ervin; his daughter Amber Whitelaw; his grandson Samuel Salmons; his brother Jerry Ervin; his parents-in-law, Lula and Grady Roberts; and his brother-in-law Charles Bechtel.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gail Ervin of Hughes Springs; his daughters, Tara Morrow of Arizona and Morgan Fritts (Robert) of Hughes Springs; his grandchildren, Jonah Morrow, Zakery Morrow, Colt Morrow, Arianna Whitelaw, Malachi Whitelaw, Mason Fritts and Cooper Fritts; his siblings, Laten Bechtel of Virginia, Alice Patler of Virginia and Steve Ervin of West Virginia; and his close friend Dwaine Higgins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cornett Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
