She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosco Barton and Ila Barton; her siblings, Dewey Barton, Vernon Barton, Elbert T. Barton, Charlie Barton, Velma Smith and Reba Barrett; and her grandson Shane Flowers.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Debbie Flowers) and Gary (Janet Flowers); her grandchildren, Stevy Flowers, Bo Flowers and Tiffany Guevara; and her sister Estelle Day. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.
