She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Ellis and Lucille Anderson; her husband Rex Sikes; and her siblings, Charles, David Ellis and Nancy Hinton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lou Ann Moore and Susan; her son-in-law Dr. Ralph Carter; and her grandchildren, Molly Wellborn, Stuart, Philip and Adam Carter. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
