She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha D. Hatten (Jimmerson) and Sonny Boy Hatten; her husband James A. Jones; her daughter Earline Jones-Johnson; and her siblings, Malvia Peppers and Freddie Mack Hatten.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Shemetric Williams (Lester) and Samtisha Searcy (Eddie) of Hughes Springs; her great grandchildren, Ashanti Searcy of Jeren Williams, E. J, Kaleb Williams and Kace Searcy; her great great grandchild Kanean Searcy; and her sister Rosie Richardson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
