It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mertie Spearman (Hughes Springs, Texas), who passed away on February 10, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sibling Valedictorian; her nephews, Robert, Cleothis and Charles; her daughter Nancy Spearman Esq; her sisters, Rose, Tennie and Betty; her uncle Nash Hines; and her siblings, Bill, Robert, Larry, Herman, Ezekiel, James, Charles and Cleo. She was also cherished by nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great nieces, cousins, and friends.
