She was predeceased by: her parents, Halbert Jack and Lola Mae Shaddix; and her siblings, Ruby Sloan and James Cotton Shaddix. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Swaim; her children, Kim Sweeten and Christie Byrd (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Shane Taylor, Kristian Taylor and Hailey Byrd; and her sister Charlotte Dodson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
