He was predeceased by: his mother Madylon "Carroll" Sampson; and his grandparents, Roy Ralph Sampson, Gladys Freeman Sampson, Willie Clyde Haywood Hooton and Leonard Dewey Hooton.
He is survived by: his father Daniel Emmitt Sampson; his daughters, Camrhen Sampson, Caylie Sampson and Allyson Sampson; his sister Jeanette; his brother-in-law Alan Leatherwood; his brother Anthony Sampson; his sister-in-law Pam; his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Hillarie Sampson, Meghan, Patrick Petty, Nolan, Chelsea Sampson, Chad and Holly Leatherwood; and his great-nephews, Milo, Maverick, Tate and Beau. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
