He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hixson and Nelle Hixson. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Hixson of Hughes Springs; his daughters, David Hixson (Katie) of Midlothian, Stephen Hixson of Hughes Springs and Claire Hixson of Arlington; his grandchildren, Trent Michael Hixson and Rowan Grace Hixson; and his siblings, Mark Hixson (Stephanie), Ralph Hixson, Judy Antimarino (Pete) and Nancy Race (Kevin).
