It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Baird of Hughes Springs, Texas, born in Bishop, Texas, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Justis Baird and Ollie Mae Nix Baird; his siblings, Marilyn Baird-Nolte, Weldon, Dewey and Harold Baird; and his daughter-in-law Julie Baird.
He is survived by: his wife Rodell Baird; and his children, Daisy Black, Shawn, Chad, Jason, Hank, Will and Chester Baird. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
