She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Rhodes and Marie Rhodes; her husband Bill Dyess, Sr.; her son Randy Dyess; her siblings, Randy Rhodes, Reggie Rhodes and Patsy Dillard; her daughter-in-law Teresa Dyess; and her grandsons, Christopher and William.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Harville of Virginia, Jana Jourden of Smyer, Bill Dyess, Jr. of Hughes Spring, Lisa Cook (Roger) of Marietta, Marty Dyess (Jemme Lynn) of Cleburne, Jerry Dyess of Longview and Donna Cook (Rusty) of Glenpool, Oklahoma; and her brother Joel Rhodes (LaFaune) of Doyline, Louisiana. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
