He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Arletha Denmark FOmby; his parents, Francis Weeks and J. C. Fomby; his children, David Lee Gilbert, Patricia Epps Pippins, Robert Fomby and Tommie Wayne Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Kevin Epps, LaMia Epps-Raibon, Robert Fomby, Jr., Victoria Fomby, Tomedian Whitmore, Richard Whitmore, Stacy Gilbert, Tiffany Gilbert and Dave Gilbert.
