He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Carter Vaughn of Hughes Springs, Texas; his children, Melinda Vaughn Samples (Steve Samples) of Hughes Springs and Wayne Vaughn (Mary Vaughn) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Lance Samples of Hughes Springs, Zachary Vaughn of Dallas, Hannah Vaughn of Austin and Andrew Samples of Magnolia, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Aaron Samples, Shelby Samples of Paris, Cooper Samples, Aiden Samples and Bronson Samples of Magnolia, Texas..
