He is survived by: his wife Frances Pitchford of Avinger; his children, Donese Simmons (Scott) of Marshall, Jeanie Marie Pitchford of Chicago, Sylvia Jane Pitchford-Hurd (Kevin) of Shreveport and Patricia Louise Pitchford (Jimmy Lohman) of Avinger; his grandchildren, Grayson Porter (Payton), Caroline Hurd, Laura Hurd, Casey Jo Henslee, Billy Dale Henslee, Jay Bridges Henslee, Savannah Simmons, Cheyenne Spencer (Thomas) and Olivia Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Lane, Laiken Porter and Cheyenne Henslee. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
