He is survived by: his former wife Pansy Armstrong; his children, James Weldon (Cindy Hampton), Michael Anthony (Sharon Hampton) and Anna Mathis of Hughes Springs, TX; his grandchildren, Darcy Drake (Alex), Austin Hampton, Travis Hampton (Pooja), Jenna Long (Jeff), Jarrod Hampton, Sam Hampton (Savannah) and Dana Kelley (Stone); his great grandchildren, Annie, Vivie, Lexi, Georgie, Mitchell, Shep and Norah; and his siblings, Ima Jean Davis, Laverne Vaughan, Alvis Hampton and Auvis Hampton.
