He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Faye Brown (Hilt) and Basil Vern Brown; his wife Hughes Springs; his daughters, Lisa Brown of Longview and Susan; his siblings, Bill (Carolyn Brown), Randy (Angie) and Denise (David Williams); and his grandsons, Jason Paul Robbins (Mimi Page Robbins) of Longview and Zackary Scott Zanardi of Dallas. He was also cherished by his brothers while his mother.
On March 28, 2020 my father, retired Navy Chief Petty Officer Gene Brown, died from complications of Alzheimer's.
