He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank O'Dell and Maureen O'Dell; his wife Nancy O'Dell; his granddaughter Amber Smoak; and his sister-in-law Denise O'Dell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela O'Dell Morris (Jeff Morris) and Melanie O'Dell Martin (Michael Phillips); his grandchildren, Will Smoak, Brady Neely (Bryn), Camden Fry and Jaden Morris; his great grandchildren, Jax Pilgrim, Kendall, Emma Kate and Livvy Neely; and his siblings, John O'Dell and Linda Walker (Billy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Hughes Springs (1213 Hanes Blvd, Hughes Springs, TX 75656). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Veal Switch Cemetery (3393 TX-11, Hughes Springs, TX 75656).
