Woods of Hughes Springs, Texas, born in Jefferson, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis James Sr. and Willie Mae Woods (Robertson); his siblings, Edward Duncan Jr., Debra Ector and Lillie "Nay" Morrow; and his nephew Keelyn Lee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Otis James Woods Jr., Jerry Woods, Marshalene McMillan, Cheryl Lee and Judie Williams; and his nieces, Shanndolyn, Shunealdolyn Morrow, Tamiko Lee, Shatedra and Sharon Carlock. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The lying in state was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Hughes Springs (1213 Hanes Blvd, Hughes Springs, TX 75656). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Reynolds Cemetery.
