She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Barton and Ila Shaddix Barton; her former husband James Durwood Owens (Shang); her daughter Barbara Gail Owens Edwards; her husband Bud Day; and her siblings, Elbert T. Barton, Dewey Barton, Vernon Barton, Charlie Barton, Reba Barrett, Peggy Oliver and Velma Smith.
She is survived by: her son Horace Allen Owens; her daughter-in-law Patricia Owens of Hughes Springs; her grandchildren, Rodney, Beverly Owens of Hughes Springs, Bryan, Tiffany Owens of White Oak, James Edwards, April of Hughes Springs and John Edwards of Hughes Springs; her great grandchildren, Allen Owens of Daingerfield, Stephanie Wise of Manassas, Virginia of Hughes Springs, Trey Edwards of Hughes Springs, Tristan Edwards of Hughes Springs, Tyler Edwards of Hughes Springs, Cody Owens of Denton, Ryan, Joe Bohn of White Oak and Weston Whiteside of White Oak; and her great great grandchildren, Harley Wise, Kira Wise of Manassas, Virginia and Garrett Wise of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church of a charity of your choice in Estelle's name.
