He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Sampson and Ethel Sampson; and his brothers, Emmit and Leo. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Hammonds (Jerry); his siblings, Billy Sampson, Lois Wyatt, Brinda Wiseman, Peggy Sumners, Margaret Wise and Sandra Fuller; and also, Chase Straub, Hailey Hammonds and Rebecca Hammonds.
