It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Mack Swindell of Hughes Springs, Texas, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oneta Swindell and Jacob "Doc" Swindell; his wife Charlotte Swindell; and his brother Jerry Swindell. He is survived by: his children, Lee Swindell, Heather Qualls (Jerry), Robert Golladay (Tracy) and Rodney Turner (Julie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 30th 2023 at 12:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Hughes Springs (1213 Hanes Blvd, Hughes Springs, TX 75656, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 30th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer's Association, The Lord's Pantry, or a charity in his honor.
