He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugo of Grood and Johanna Van; his wife Mary Bonita (Bonnie) of Grood; his brother Hugo (Nel Beijer) of Grood; his children, Jaqueline Space, Maegan Sheiman (Josh Sheiman) and Alexander (Valerie) of Grood; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Emmeline, Teddy, Beckham and Juliette.
Rudy will be laid to rest in his home, Holland, after the pandemic allows for safer travels and gathering.
