She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Shanks and Lorena Tullos Shanks; her stepmother Lois Shanks; and her stepbrother Mike McCloud. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Lee Colson; her sons, Kenneth Glenn Colson (Jo Ann Colson) and Jeffrey Scott Colson (Mary Jane Colson); her sister Dorothy Currie; and her grandchildren, Kyle Colson (Lori Colson), Kevin Colson and Kaitlyn Rhodes (Matt). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and three nephews.
