It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy (Dottie) Berges Sarbeck of Huffman, Texas, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard H. Sarbeck, Jr.; her parents, George P. Berges and Carolyn Brauner Mitchell; her stepmother Edith A. Berges; and her sibling Abdon North (Marlene).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Legendre (Steve), Wendy Perkins (late Prentiss Perkins), Gretchen Figarola (John) and Benny Sarbeck, III (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Steve Legendre, II (Randi), Brian Legendre (Danielle), Garrett, Brett Perkins, Ashley, Jonathan Figarola, Nicholas and Lilly Sarbeck; her great grandchildren, Stella and Dakota Legendre; and her brother Charles North. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
