He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anita Van Meter; his children, Breana Van Meter Brandes (Justin), Paiten Van Meter Hull (Trey), Brian Van Meter, Jr. (Dessie) and Mya Van Meter; his parents, Betty Blanchard Van Meter and Richard Lee Van Meter (Rip); and his brothers, Earl Van Meter and Matthew Van Meter. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
