She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Johnson James and Paul Wesley James; her brother Paul Wesley James, Jr.; her mother-in-law Lola Hensley; and her siblings-in-law, Eloise Watts (Bob), Caroline Baez, Joe Prestidge and Melvin Hensley.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Kenneth Hensley; her children, Debbie Pitcher (Chris), Janet Dickenson (Randy) and James Alan Hensley Sr. (Dianne); her grandchildren, Kimberly Patricelli (Tony), John Burkett, Jacob Burkett, Jorie Anderson (Matt), James Alan Hensley Jr. and Jaden Lee Hensley; her great grandchildren, Tristan Patricelli and Kai Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Hensley (Ann), Jay Hensley (Wilma), Don Hensley (Anna), Guin Prestidge, Connie Isner (Chuck) and Jana Hensley. She is also survived by her three children were grown and was an excellent student but stopped her coursework to become a caregiver for her brother.
