He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Bartow and Herbert Bartow; his former wife Jo Bartow; his stepson Mark Maddox; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Rawlinson.

He is survived by: his wife Julie Rawlinson Bartow of Hubbard; his brothers, Frank Bartow of Charleston and Herbert Bartow of Merrick; and his stepchildren, Tony Rawlinson of Denton, Richy Rawlinson of Hubbard, Michael Rawlinson of Dawson, Jana White of Mount Calm and Carie Cargile (Rickey) of Hubbard. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other extended family.
