He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Thompson and Alma Findlay Thompson; his mother-in-law Helen Bourdow; his sons-in-law, Sam McClendon and Gregg Killmer; and his brother-in-law Olav Harsvick.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Bourdow; his children, Karin McClendon of Hubbard, Kenneth Thompson, Jr. (Shelley) of Saginaw, Laura Jerome of Overland Park, Shelly Piechotte (Marc) of Saginaw, Vonnie Delong (Bill) of Saginaw and Keith Thompson (Jennifer Kinman) of Hurst; his sister Lucianne Harsvick; and his siblings-in-law, George Bourdow (Janet), Pat Garske of North Highlands and Yvonne Johnson (Steve) of Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
