It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Fred Swinner of Hubbard, Texas, born in Normangee, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Henry Swinner and Miller Ernestine Swinner (Williams); his son Fred Swinner, Jr.; and his granddaughter Maxie Pearl Swinner Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Linda Swinner (Brewington) of Hubbard; his children, Sharon Swinner of Bruceville, Angel Sanders of Hubbard, Rhonda Swinner of Mustang, Brandy Ritch, Brandon Michael of Hillsboro, Candy Pope (Lonnie) of Hillsboro, Charlotte Swinner of Corpus Christi, William Ray Swinner of Houston, Jodie Swinner of Waco, Misty Swinner of Whitney, Ernest Henry Swinner of Huntsville, Peggy Sue Jeffers of Hubbard and Virginia Perham of Waco; and his son-in-law Jason Ritch of Hillsboro. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
