It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Henry McGee of Hubbard, Texas, born in Pelahatchie, Mississippi, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Winfred McGee and Lottie Mae McGee (Huff); and his siblings, Lee Odom, Josephine Joy, Raymond McGee, Lola Mae Womack, Margie Shoemaker, Otis McGee and Johny McGee.

He is survived by: his wife Ivery McGee of Hubbard; his children, James McGee (Dona) of Rowlett and Mary Coleman of Temple; his sister Susan Hardy (Jimmy) of McComb, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Meghan, James Davis, Zachary, Ali Coleman, Sarah McGee, Anna Coleman, Rebecca Coleman and Alexis McGee; and his great grandchild Ivery Rose Coleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials and donations be made to the Audio/Visual Department of First Baptist Church, Hubbard, P.O. Box 176, Hubbard, Texas 76648.
