He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Eldora "Peggy" Couch (Zimmerman); his wife Deanna Sonnenberg Couch; and his siblings, Jerry Don Couch and Barbara Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Adkins of Hillsboro, Tommy Couch of Dawson and Belinda Crum (Tommy) of Elm Mott; his grandchildren, Anthony Adkins (Kim) of Hewitt, Misty Adkins of Hillsboro, Colton Crum of Elm Mott, Corey Crum of Elm Mott, Connor Crum of Elm Mott and Thomas Couch of Abilene; his great grandchildren, Steven Shaw of Groesbeck, Caitlyn Barberena of Groesbeck, CJ Barberena of Groesbeck, Kasen DeFord of Corsicana and Olive Adkins of Bruceville Eddy; and his siblings, Pam Merritt of Hubbard and Raymond Couch (Janice) of Penelope. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
