She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wolf and Alice Wolf (Ludwig); her husband Maxie Ellison; her son Ricky Ellison; and her brother Robert "Bob" Wolf.
She is survived by: her daughter Phillis Olson (Michael) of Hubbard; her daughter-in-law Beth Ellison of Hubbard; her grandchildren, Kevin Olson of Hubbard, Shane Ellison (Shannon) and Alyson Ellison of Hubbard; her sister Mary Lynn Berryman (Boyd) of Saginaw; her brothers-in-law, Billy Morris Ellison of Hubbard and Ronnie Keith Ellison (Sharon) of Groesbeck; and her pet Sugar. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Barbara's memory to Missionary Baptist Church, 406 NE 4th Street, Hubbard, Texas 76648.
