She is survived by: her son Rusty Melton; her daughter-in-law Kathy Melton; her daughters, Peggy Abernathy, Tamela Shadden and Deborah Landers; her nephews, Jimmy (Christine McMurray), Larry Petty and Brain Petty; her daughter Joy Melton; and her grandchildren, Dusty Melton, Randle Abernathy, Parker Owens, Della Taylor and Llana Abernathy.
