He was predeceased by: his son Danny Adkins; and his son-in-law Pete Hickman. He is survived by: his wife Jamie Ann Adkins; his children, Delanna Mitchell (Mike) of Van Alstyne, TX, Tracy Goldson (Peggy) of Collinsville, TX, Terrie Farris (Jeff) of Sherman, TX and Cheryl Hickman of Sherman, TX; his grandchild Tosha Searls (Jerry) of Van Alstyne, TX; and his children, Brittney Mitchell (Dameon) of Denison, TX, Joshua Farris of Quinlan, TX, Joel Farris (Krysten) of Carrollton, TX, Garrett Goldston of Thackerville, OK, Pete Hickman, Ashley of Pottsboro, TX, Zachary Hickman of Sherman, TX and Libbey Taylor (Lucas) of Southmayd, TX. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
