He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Elwood and Marion Chadwick Elwood; his wife Betty Elwood; his siblings, Gordon Elwood Jr., Eldon Elwood, Carolyn Bushy and Mary; and his sons, Danny Elwood, Larry Elwood and Terry Elwood.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Holland (Lee) of Pottsboro and Diane Vellotti (Danny) of Denison, Texas; his stepchildren, Robbie Saltzman and Debbie Freeman (Joe) of Howe; and his sisters, Aylda Carpenter of Northport and Ilene Cooper of Richford, Vermont. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
