It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Sue Elwood of Howe, Texas, born in Bonham, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Emmett Babers and Rollie Cassie Miller Babers; her siblings, W. T. Babers, Robert E. Babers, Madeleine Ross, Juanita Wigley and Bennie Jo Glover; her son Lewis Mark Saltzman; and her stepsons, Danny Elwood, Larry Elwood and Terry Elwood.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Elwood; her children, Robbie Saltzman and Debbie Freeman (Joe) of Howe; her stepdaughters, Diane Vellotti (Danny) of Denison and Darlene Holland (Lee) of Pottsboro, Texas; and her sister Mary Alice Wood of Gonzales, Texas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
