She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Ortega; her siblings, Eddie Andrade, Jr., Juanita Andrade, Lidia Flores and Eva Rodriguez; and her granddaughter Evangelina Alcantar.
She is survived by: her children, Eutimio Ortega of Big Spring, Flora Cruz of Big Spring, Estella Ortega of Angleton, Joe Ortega of Big Spring, Sophie Alcantar of Big Spring, Maria Martinez of San Antonio, Eva Ortega of Big Spring and Gracie Marquez of Killeen; and her sisters, Mary Croner of Round Rock, Anita Houser of Tyler, Esther Zubiate of Austin, Pauline Andrade of Tyler and Aurora Guera of Greenwood. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, and 45 great grandchildren.
