He was predeceased by: his father Lyman Ritter; his children, Teresa Lynn Ritter and Bruce Evan Ritter (Dorothy); his parent Frona Ritter; his wife Juanita Joan Walston; his brother Jim (Marianne); and also, Ruby, Willie Walston, Marion, Emmitt Albright, James Beck, Gene Moeller, Maurice and Garlow.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Joan Ritter of Long Beach and Wayne Lyman Ritter, Jr. (Mike) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Joshua and Noel; his daughter-in-law Katie; his great grandchild Jack; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Moeller-Garlow of Lawton, Margaret Beck of Roseville and Bernice Pearson (Jack) of Wichita. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peevey Funeral Home (12240 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peevey Funeral Home (12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
