He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Joel and Marie Wells (Schlesinger); and his siblings, Alvin Charles Wells and Carolyn Jean Wells. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his daughters, Lauren Warwick (Michael) and Lindsey Pooley; his grandchildren, Riley Cooper Warwick, Ethan Daniel Warwick, James Roark Pooley and Noah Thomas Pooley; and his siblings, Earl Joseph Wells and Cynthia Ann Wells. He is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home (9926 Jones Rd, Houston, TX 77065). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
