He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Louise Ballard and Victor Ballard, Sr.; his former wife Rose Ballard; his wife Katy Ballard; and his daughter Anna Marie Lorenzo.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Catherine Hinton), Walter Harvey Ballard, Jr., Clinton (Christine Ballard), Stony (Jerry Ann Ballard), Danny (Kim Ballard) and Lessa Krapish; and his brothers, Carlos (Martha), Donald (Merry), Victor (Linda), Harold (Rita) and Ernest (Beverly). He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kingwood Funeral Home (22800 US-59, Kingwood, TX 77339).
In lieu of flowers, since Walter was an avid supporter of St. Jude's and Wounded Warriors, it would be preferred that a gift be given to one of these organizations in his honor.
