She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Sekula and Barbara Sekula; her husband Edwin; her children, Douglas and Mary; her brothers, Adrian, Raymond and Lucian Sekula; and her nephew Aron Sekula.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja and Amy (Gregory Sorensen); her friend Corinne Sorensen; and her siblings, Sally Schaefer, Mary Eiserer, Therese Bass, Gene, Larry and Isi Sekula. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Nativity of the B. V. M. Catholic Church (300 FM 3191, Falls City, TX 78113). A rosary was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Panna Maria Cemetery.
