He is survived by: his mother Paula Peres Cabrera; his children, James (Heather Meaux), Benjamin (Samantha Murillo), Amy (Oscar Lopez), Christopher (Alma Meaux), Paula (Timothy Norris, Jr.), Adam (Hanna Meaux), Jesse Murillo (Nancy Pham), Mercedes Murillo (Ravi Koosyial) and Nicholas (Kylie Murillo); his grandchildren, Rylan Meaux, Torin Meaux, Jasmine Buffington, Priscila Lopez, Ethan Lopez, Angel Meaux, Emmanuel Meaux, Isaiah Meaux, Alezzae Meaux, Jeremias Meaux, Gabriella Meaux, Christopher Meaux, Alessandra Meaux, Charisma Meaux, Antonia Green, Jeremiah Gonzalez, Gianna Meaux, Catalina Guerrero, Levi Murillo and Audrieana Murillo; and his siblings, Ruperto Murillo, Jorge Murillo, Leticia Murillo, Beatris Murillo, Maria Dolores Murillo, Jaime Murillo, Irma Murillo, Yolanda Murillo, Susana Murillo, Jose Luis Murillo, Ubaldo Murillo and Veronica Murillo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
