She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Martinez and Louise Martinez. She is survived by: her husband Ron Sankowski; and her siblings, Rosemary Gay, Berta Babin (Chuckie), Gloria Martinez Rodriguez, Anastacia Warren (Steve), Sara Hester (Jim), Rudy Michael (Von) and Jeffery (Jamie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santana Funeral Directors - Katy (5352 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77007). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Historic Hollywood Cemetery (3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009).
