He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise; and his daughter Brenda Joyce Colapret. He is survived by: his son Thomas Paul Carter Jr. (Judy Kay); his grandchildren, Brandon Oliveri, Nikki Upchurch (Donald), Dustin James Carter (Rachel) and Stephanie Kay Kostic; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Reagyn Upchurch, Shelby, Dylan Carter and Rylee Kostic. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
