With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tobye Joachim in Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tobye Joachim to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Fram and Helen Fram; her siblings, Lewis Fram, Jerome Fram and Betty Weiner; and her grandson Jonathan Finkelman.

She is survived by: her spouse Mortimer Joachim; her children, Jeff Joachim (Kimberly), Karen Finkelman-Hasson (Steve Hasson) and Linda Kantor (Curtis); and her grandchildren, David Finkelman (Jennifer), Jason Joachim (Kayli), Joshua Finkelman (Paige), Jeremy Joachim (Rebeka), Brooke Kantor (Jerry Nimmo), Adam Finkelman and Sean Kantor. She is also survived by great grandchildren; her children's blended family members; and countless extended family.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery (7445 Awty School Ln, Houston, TX 77055).

As Tobye was a lifetime member of Hadassah, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hadassah, http://www.hadassah.org., or Camp Young Judaea, http://www.cyjtexas.org..
