He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McCool and Mary McCool; and his siblings, Daniel, Louis and Mary McCool.
He is survived by: his sons, Aaron (Librarian), Quentin (Major-Retired) and Major Isaac McCool (Army); his grandchildren, Andre, Jared (Air Force), Caleb (Air Force), Devin, David (College), Evalina and Gabriel McCool; and his brother Sean McCool.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
