With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Mavourneen Purcell (Houston, Texas), born in Beaumont, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her fathers, Captain Robert Joseph Jackson (Elizabeth Mary Louise Watler Jackson) and William Purcell; her husband William Purcell; her siblings, Helen Ward, Ruby Turner, Ted and Bob Jackson; her siblings-in-law, Arnott Ward, John Turner, Maria and Theta Jackson; and her niece Sandy Davidson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Purcell Miller (David Miller) and Patrick Purcell; her granddaughters, Maddison and Kalyn; her grandson-in-law Matthew; her great grandchild Kollins; her brother Woodrow Jackson; her siblings-in-law, Sonny and Jane McFarland; and her extended family, Michelle Purcell and David Glass. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
